Foster Garvey Supports the Washington Park Arboretum

This summer, the Seattle office participated in a volunteer event organized by Project Coordinator Trevor Haefner at the Washington Park Arboretum. All volunteers (John Hoerster, Carol Hoerster, Kayla Nolan and Trevor Haefner) thoroughly enjoyed their time outside, reporting that connecting with the land, even removing weeds, was therapeutic.

Providing Assistance to Catholic Charities of Oregon

Foster Garvey is proud of its longstanding relationship with Catholic Charities of Oregon (“Catholic Charities”), through which the firm assists on a variety of pro bono matters, both small and large. Catholic Charities provides essential, life-changing services to the most vulnerable Oregonians. These services include affordable and supportive housing, legal services, refugee resettlement and many others. The organization was founded in 1933 during the Great Depression and has been a steadfast ally of the poor and marginalized since its inception.

Foster Garvey and JMMP Announce Launch of Stone Scholars Class Honoring Rafael Stone

Beginning in 2024, The Washington Joint Minority Mentorship Program (JMMP) law student and new lawyer mentees who completed its one-year mentorship program were named “Stone Scholars” in honor of Foster Garvey attorney Rafael Stone’s steadfast commitment to championing access to opportunity throughout the legal profession nationally, and especially in Washington state.
