Supporting DESC: Small Acts, Big Impact
At Foster Garvey, giving back to our communities is a core value of our firm’s culture. In 2025, our Seattle office continued its partnership with the Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC), an organization that helps individuals experiencing homelessness, substance use disorders and serious mental illness achieve stability and well-being.

Food Frenzy: Coming Together to Fight Hunger
This summer, we joined 75 businesses in Food Frenzy, in a firm-wide fundraising campaign benefiting Food Lifeline. Food Lifeline works tirelessly to end hunger in western Washington by distributing nutritious food across 17 counties and finding innovative ways to expand the food supply, including culturally relevant options for families in need.
Championing the Rule of Law, in Principle and Practice
In May 2025, legal professionals gathered for a night of powerful dialogue on what it truly means to defend the rule of law. The panel explored the personal journey of upholding justice when systems and values are in conflict.
